| To accumulate points and be eligible for championship trophys in a class, you must be an SCCA member and complete more than half of the scheduled events in a season. For instance, if there are 7 scheduled points events, you must compete in a minimum of 4 points events to be eligible for a championship trophy.
Points will be awarded as follows
For scoring purposes, all entries will be given points. However, only SCCA members will have their points tallied. Example Class Scoring
Since Driver A & B are not members, their points get thrown away. So only Driver C will get points for the year end results. Even though Driver C was the top SCCA member in the class, he will only get 4 points for the 3rd place finish, not 10 points. |
