To reply to a message on the list, be sure to "Reply to All," if you want to send the reply back to the list. The default on the mailing list is to reply only to the sender of the message.

To unsubscribe from the list, send an email to alscca-unsubscribe@alscca.org.

1) NO ATTACHMENTS please.  Not everyone has high speed internet connections, so we recommended that you send any attachments as links to save download times.

2) Submissions to the list containing foul language, adult content or personal attacks will not be tolerated.

3) Please refrain from sending virus warnings, non-automotive related jokes, get rich quick schemes, pyramid schemes and non-automotive related advertisements to the list.

4) Remember that you may not be the only “Bill" on the list.  Please include your full name and e-mail address at the end of your e-mails.  Anonymous or “handle” posts are not allowed on the list.

5) Authors retain the copyright to their posts to the list.  You may not redistribute any material on this list in any other forum without explicit permission from the original author(s).  This includes forwarding and FAXing posts to people outside of the list without the original author's permission(s).

6) If you are a vendor of racing related parts, you are certainly welcome to join and post to the list.  You may post ads about your products and services provided you are racing related products.  You may post product release information or special sales listings for race related parts and services.  Please keep your posts on topic.  And remember that we reserve the right to exclude any and all posts to the list that we feel are in unfit for our list members.

7) Please take any personal discussions off the list.  This would include questions about advertisements received from business members of the list.

8) If you are using Netscape or some other HTML or otherwise "enhanced" mail front end, please turn off embedded HTML and other "fancy" stuff.  Not everyone is able to receive e-mails in these formats.

9) The list is a "closed" mailing list. This means only members can post messages.  This reduces spam and other unwanted e-mails from being sent to list members.  This also means that the address you receive posts from this list MUST be the same address used to send to this list.  For most people this will not be a problem but if you ever encounter the situation where you can get postings but can not send posts, send an e-mail to alscca-owner@alscca.org and describe your problem.

11) If you are seeing error messages or something strange on the list, DO NOT E-MAIL THE WHOLE LIST.  Simply email the list admin at alscca-owner@alscca.org with a description of your problem and we will investigate for you.
